ADDED SECURITY

Digital printing allowed for new value-added security applications.  A key one is an invisible security feature that cannot be viewed by the consumer – or the naked eye. It only appears under a security light. This is like James Bond stuff!

SHORT-RUN OR VARIABLE PRINTING JOBS

The fact that digital printing allows for short-runs and variable printing has always been a major draw to digital equipment. But the best part is that it doesn’t compromise on quality. Smooth, vibrant colors every time! Print short runs and save on the cost of test groups! Test a variety of samples on the shelves; use different graphics, different languages, and test different colors to see what sells best in what location.

Use databases of numbers or names to print 4-color variable designs. Think of the Coke® campaign with different names on each can so that consumers “buy a friend a Coke”.
