What We are Doing to Get Supplies Shipped Faster to You

Over the past year, I realized that every task in business takes 3X more work than in previous years.  Are you experiencing the same thing?  Everything takes longer than expected.  It has been very challenging, to say the least.  Having been in the business for over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this.  It has been very stressful. We are working through this at PaladinID.

Here are some of the things we are doing to get supplies shipped faster

• Job Sharing. We have been able to move jobs between our plants where the workload or schedules allow.
• Substituted Similar Materials. We have substituted similar label materials where we can between vendors and even changed label materials altogether just to keep our customers moving forward.
• Setting up blanket orders. We are able to look out 6-12 months and put products on the shelf to help alleviate long lead times.  This takes planning, but we have been very successful so far and none of our customers have run out of labels.

Just think about the workload from our customers’ standpoint.  When orders are taking longer, that generates phone calls and/or emails with updates on the shipping dates.  That in turn generated extra work on our end and then because the plants have been short-handed, it takes longer to get shipping updates.  We are keeping a positive attitude and doing our best to meet our customers ‘expectations and they have been great!  We are all in this together.
