About six weeks ago I received a call from one of the major automotive manufacturer that needed help in labeling their inventory bins. They needed a system to color-code their products and called wondering if we could provide colored labels. I told them, not a problem, this is exactly what we do. They wanted to be able to design and print labels through a barcode printer. I suggested using BarTender for Windows as the software package. We then chose a desktop Zebra printer because the volumes were low.
Once those items were decided they got to pick out their colors.
It was a total of 10 colors which designate various parts. The label stock I recommended was a white polyester with permanent adhesive. These labels would stand up to abrasion and last a very long time.
After they got up and running, I gave them a call to see how the system was working. They were thrilled. Here is what they had to say,

Another happy customer. They just ordered their second batch of labels!
