I received the new Datamax P1115 Bar Code Label Printer last week. I was asked to evaluate the printer. It has much of the same characteristics as the P1120N except this is a flat head printer, just like a Zebra or Intermec. The auto-loading of labels was great and easy to use. I will have more information in the coming weeks once I put the printer through it’s paces. What I can say is that the printing is clean and crisp. I was very excited about quality of the ladder style bar codes. It was as good as a picket fence style bar code. I have several customers who could benefit from this alone.
