Another Problem Solved Using The Epson Inkjet Label Printer

If you have an application that needs color on-demand, you need to look at the Epson Colorworks line of inkjet label printers. I have a client that just switched to the Epson Colorworks inkjet printers from years of using Zebra printers and they could not be happier. This customer recently upgraded their operating system to Microsoft Dynamics 365, that allowed them to move to an platform of what is called Integrated Chemical Management (ICM) from Xcelpros. They can now print all of their data, symbols and graphics from one place, in real-time.

As you can see in the above image, the label on the left was printed using a Zebra printer. Sometimes it is hard to hit the exact spot of where you need data on pre-printed label stock. The image on the right was printed with the Epson C6000 inkjet printer. As you can see, everything is lined up and looks perfect.

Problem: This customer is in the biotech field and needed to print on-demand labels with all of the warning statements, usage instructions, symbols and graphics. As you know, symbols have an industry requirement of being in color, typically red. What companies do to solve this is to order pre-printed labels and then print the variable data through a thermal transfer printer. This method has worked for years mostly because no printer manufacturer had a solution, until now.

The problem is there are so many symbols and graphics being required every year, the customers label inventory is getting hard to manage.

Solution: Xcelpros at https://xcelpros.com/icm/ presented their solution to gather and keep track of all the vital data that my customer needed for their operations along with giving them the ability to print all of their content, including symbols, graphics and text in color. We suggested they move their printing to the Epson Colorworks C6000 inkjet printer. That way they could print all of their content data on blank labels. When a symbol or graphic needed to be deleted or added, it was just a simple software change. The customer is loving the ability and flexibility to print on-demand color. These printers will now be able to fill every need today and into the future. PaladinID was able to help them choose the correct label materials for their application. The customer is thrilled with their new system from the software to the printers and labels.
