Yes, it’s wonderful – Valkaria Gardens, LLC goes digital! I had a meeting with Tim Laudermilk of Valkaria Gardens in Grant Valkaria, Florida last year. After walking through his nursery, I noticed that everything was identified by hand written paper nursery tags. He explained to me that one of the problems he was having was tagging and marking his nursery inventory, it was time consuming and very illegible. I suggested he use a thermal transfer label and tag printer with specially designed synthetic, weather resistant, nursery tags for his industry. After sending in samples, he decided to order the system. The system is now up and running and plants are identified by clear printed tags. The two biggest benefits of this printing system is that the tags are printed very fast, about one a second and the pricing questions have been reduced to next to zero. This is because the tags are now legible. I have included a couple of before and after pictures of his tags.
