During the past 3 years, I have been asked if we provided a solution for ECL (Expanded Content Labels). At first I was not sure what people were talking about, but the more I was asked, the more I needed to find out what this was all about. ECL is used where a one dimensional label does not have enough area to print all of the information your company needs to print. Think of an ECL as more of a booklet or pamphlet with mulitple pages bound together on a liner like a label that is able to adhere to your products. This is a very cost effective way to get your information out. Examples of people who use ECL’s would be food, chemical, pharma manufacturer’s or any consumer products company that wants to advertise or offer coupons and/or rebates on their products. We are now a authorized reseller of this line of products and are working with a company called JH Bertrand out of Buffalo, NY.
