Looking for Barcode Labeling Ribbons?

Printer ribbons are required when using thermal transfer labels or flexible packaging film.   These barcode labeling ribbons need to be matched and be compatible to the label stock in order to optimize print quality and performance.  The choice of wax, wax/resin and resin is dictated by how that particular label will be used.  Selecting the proper combination of printer, product surface, and ribbon can be daunting.  We're more than happy to help you make the best decision!

Wax Printer Ribbons

Wax printer ribbons are used for high volume paper and tag stock applications, such as shipping and carton labels.  These ribbons are the most economical of all three ribbon types.

Wax/Resin Ribbons

Wax/Resin ribbons are used for applications that require more abrasion resistance than your standard wax ribbon.

Resin Ribbons

Resin ribbons are used in applications where high heat, chemical, and high abrasion resistance is required. Resin ribbons are used in labeling outdoor appliances such as electric meters, air conditioners and utility boxes.

Near Edge Ribbons

Near-edge ribbons are mainly used in flexible packaging machines, ideal for form-filled bags that require lot number and date code, such as those used for coffee, snacks, produce and consumer product packaging.

Wax/Resin Near Edge Ribbons

Wax/Resin ribbons are used for applications that require more abrasion resistance than your standard wax ribbon.

Resin Near Edge Ribbons

Resin ribbons are used in applications where high heat, chemical, and high abrasion resistance is required. Resin ribbons are used in labeling outdoor appliances such as electric meters, air conditioners and utility boxes.
