Problem: A company was having difficulty with their product labels. They used pre-printed synthetic labels that were applied to the company’s products and then placed in a -40° C freezer. The labels were not thermal transfer imprintable, the ribbons would not image properly and the pre-printed company logo drifted into the portion of the label needed for variable information.
